Free height calculators
Every tool runs in your browser, answers as you type and accepts cm or feet and inches. The growth tools use the CDC and WHO data pediatricians use, and each page says how far to trust the result.

Which one do you need?
| Your question | Tool |
|---|---|

| How tall will my child be as an adult? | Height predictor |
| How tall should our kids end up, given our heights? | Mid-parental height calculator |
| Is my child (2 to 20) tall or short for their age? | Height and weight percentile |
| Where is my baby on the growth chart? | Baby height percentile |
Garbage in, garbage out
Every one of these tools is only as good as the height you type. A shoe, a slouch or a carpet is worth a centimetre or two, and on a child's growth chart that is several percentile points. Before trusting any result, read how to measure height accurately at home: it takes two minutes with a wall, a hardback book and a pencil.
No wall handy, or measuring something that is not a person? The Measure Height app for iPhone estimates height, width and depth from one photo and tells you how confident it is.
